An empath is someone who can feel what another person feels, not only physically but also mentally.
An empath, by definition, is someone who experiences the same feelings as another. An empath is able to understand another’s feelings and thoughts, and connect with them, providing insight into the person they are with and their inner emotional state.
Empaths experience their feelings through empathy. They do not “think” about their feelings, they are constantly in a state of emotional awareness. To an empath, the feelings of someone are the physical sensations they experience. Empaths often have a hard time understanding the feelings and thoughts of others because they do not know how to identify them.
Although an empath does not consciously process their feelings, they are able to interpret a person’s feelings and thoughts. To the empath, the thoughts or feelings that someone is experiencing may not be real. The empath does not believe what is happening is real and can only make sense to them. If a person feels sad, the empath will interpret this emotion as sadness from outside the person. It is up to the empath to understand that the emotion the person feels is real, though it may not make any sense at the time.
Some empaths use their skills of interpretation to help others. When a person has a fear of flying, the empath interprets this emotion as fear of dying. They are able to understand a person is frightened of flying, and can use this information in order to make the person comfortable when they are on their plane.
Some paths have a sensitivity to light, allowing them to experience feelings associated with darkness and death. In some cases, they can sense a person’s death through the energy of their body and even the color of their hair.
A person with an empath’s sensitivity to light may find themselves feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or nauseous when near sunlight.
Others may feel as though they are floating above their bodies.
People with an empath’s ability to sense other people’s energy may use this energy to heal others or even themselves. They are able to heal themselves, others, or objects.
Those who have an empath’s abilities may use their skills in order to predict the future. They can often sense when their loved ones may die or will soon die and can prepare for it. By using the power of their empath senses, it is possible for an empath to see death or other major changes in a person.
An empath is able to read other people’s emotions. They can feel when a person is happy or sad, and can see the hidden messages in a person’s voice or face. Their ability to sense emotion allows them to see what a person is hiding about them.
In most cases, an empath will not tell anyone else what they see or feel. They may share the information with another empath, but the information should not be used to hurt another person.
An empath’s ability to heal others is sometimes abused by psychics, because people assume that the empath can actually give them or their loved ones a better life. This is never true. However, if you work with an empath you will learn to understand their ability to see things and be more sensitive to their energy.
When a person is healing, it is easier to receive a message if the energy is not being absorbed into the person. Instead, the energy comes out into the ether and is then received by the person being healed. When you are receiving a message, the empath is sending their energy to you. They may have to move their hands a little, but the energy will still enter you.
For example, if a person is hurting, they are telling you their energy and allowing your body to receive that energy so that it can flow out onto you. In some cases, they are saying, “I am sending love, love.” They may even say, “I will heal you” or, “It is okay, now you are healed.” In this situation, you are not able to hear the message, but the energy is still coming to you.
